^Lot 1036 BELGIAN(?) SMOOTH BORE PERCUSSION MUSKET.

Cal. 58. NSN. The 37 1/4" octagon to rnd. bbl. has dovetail for rear sight & attaches to stock w/ 3 spring retained bands, front band w/ integral ramrod pipe. No marks or proofs are found. Unmarked percussion lock has serpentine heavy hammer. Beechwood stock is iron mounted & has right hand cheekpiece. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: CONDITION: poor. Metal shows considerable deep pitting and is generally uncleaned brown to black. Stocks with a good amount of old roughly applied varnish, have a period repair through wrist with forged iron cap over top of grip. Bore is rusted. Lock is operable. (01-21514/MGM). ANTIQUE. $400-600.
